Kimberly graduated cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in the Smeal College of Business where she obtained her degree in Management Science and Information Systems.
She has ten years of management experience in the New York/New Jersey market working in the fashion industry—where fashion and beauty go hand in hand. From there, Kimberly attended the South Hills North Hills Beauty Academy in 2013 and obtained her Pennsylvania Department of Cosmetology Esthetician’s License where she received her certifications on Microdermabrasion & DMK treatments. She is also certified through PCA Skin and attends weekly continued education on chemical peels and other treatments. Additional trainings she's completed include: Micro/Hydroderm-abrasion, Radio Frequency Tightening, and LED Light Therapy from Glownar Aesthetics, and Dermaplaning from Dermaplane Pro. Her latest credential was with Face Reality, where she became a certified acne specialist. Her lash training began in Chicago in 2014 with The Lashe brand. Kimberly is a partner salon of one of the leading brands in the lash industry, Borboleta Beauty, and also attended her Volume Lash certification through Borboleta in 2015 and attended their Advanced Artist Academy in Salt Lake City, UT summer of 2018. Continuing education is very important to her and she has obtained advanced lash techniques certification through Revoläshion and Glitz Lash Studio. Abi loves everything beauty and has dabbled with makeup all her life. She graduated from Bella Capelli in July 2021 with her cosmetology license and started with La Vie shortly after taking our lash and brow classes. She was promoted to La Vie's lead facialist after being the first to complete La Vie's extensive training program of all our facial offerings. She has also taken the training program with Face Reality and is well versed on their products and acne programs.

SHAYLA SMITH
FACIALIST MASTER LASH ARTIST Licensed Esthetician 
Shayla has always had a passion for beauty growing up, but after graduating high school, she realized just how strong her passion was and decided to enroll at Butler Beauty Academy. During this time, she received her first two certificates for eyelash extensions. She starting lashing with La Vie shortly after obtaining her esthetician license in January 2022. As well as being a talented lash artist, Shayla's calming energy and passion for skin care led her to becoming one of our top facialist.

SENIOR MASTER LASH ARTIST Licensed Esthetician 
Jen attended South Hills Beauty Academy and began lashing at a local lash studio in the summer of 2016 before advancing her career with La Vie. She is volume lash certified with Borboleta Beauty and has been lashing with La Vie since November of 2017.

SENIOR MASTER LASH & BROW ARTIST FACIALIST Licensed Cosmetologist 
Taylor has always been passionate about makeup from a young age and making people feel their best. She has an associates degree in business management and obtained her cosmetology license from Bella Capelli in 2017. She started working at La Vie 2019 after taking our lash certification class, and is always up for learning different skills and services to offer her clients.

MARISSA HARDY
BROW SPECIALIST MASTER LASH & BROW ARTIST Licensed Esthetician 
Marissa's interested in the beauty industry started at a young age. She worked at Sephora as an assistant manager, which furthered her interested in the beauty industry. She graduated from North Hills Beauty Academy in March 2021. More recently, she's continued to perfect her art and earned a promotion to La Vie's brow specialist.

MASTER LASH & BROW ARTIST Licensed Esthetician 
Renata graduated from North Hills Beauty Academy in January 2022. She has been practicing lashes since 2020, and became officially certified in lash extensions in January of 2022. She began her career shortly after graduation at a local esthetics salon, where she grew her skill set with lashes, brows, skin care, and tanning, before joining on with us a La Vie!

Katie has always had a passion for everything beauty, which drove her to attend Bella Capelli Academy. While there, she obtained her classic lash certification through Dulce Lash Artistry, and graduated in August 2021 with her cosmetology license. She worked at Sephora after graduating, but wanted to switch careers to being a full time lash artist. She worked at a small lash salon, but then came to La Vie in September 2023 to expand her work as a lash artist.

LASH AND BROW ARTIST FACIALIST Licensed Esthetician 
Taylor's love for the esthetics industry started at a young age. Growing up, she was taught to always take care of yourself and do things that make you feel good about yourself. Which drove her to attend Bella Capelli Academy which she graduated from in May of 2024 as a Licensed Esthetician. She then started here at La Vie shortly after in June offering a variety of services she loves! When she's not in services, you can find her assisting at the desk.
